Location
All conference activities will take place in the Graham Center Ballrooms, Modesto A. Maidique Campus (MMC), Florida International University, located at 11200 SW 8th St, Miami, FL 33199, USA. Attendees may stay in any hotel of their choosing; there is no conference-specific lodging. Visitors are urged to consult the hotels' websites and/or travel sites for further information before reserving. November is the tourist season in Miami, please try to book the hotel in advance since the hotel is in high demand at that time. Attendees may fly to the Miami International Airport. The Miami International Airport is approximately 10 miles northeast of the Engineering Center at Florida International University. Attendees can take a uber or taxi from the airport to the University. If you are not a U.S. citizen, you may need a visa for entry to the U.S. For additional information regarding visas and/or passports, please visit the U.S. Consulate in your country. IEEE ISI 2018 conference is able to provide a visa support letter to attendees, presenters, as well as members of the conference committee. For obtaining a visa support letter, contact the publication chair of the conference, Dr. Ghita Mezzour (ghita.mezzour@uir.ac.ma), providing the following information:- Full name (as it appears on attendee's passport).
- Mailing address (to be mentioned in the letter).
- Attendee's registration confirmation number.
- Title of the presentation (if there is).
LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
In Miami, you can combine art with a place to chill. Our city offers a wide range of activities and local attractions, for example, Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, Miami Seaquarium, Bayfront Park South Beach, and Wyndwood. Also, you can visit the nearby Dolphin Mall or choose from a really wide selections of night clubs and restaurants in Brickell.
