Intelligence and Security Informatics (ISI) is an interdisciplinary research field involving academic researchers in information technologies, computer science, public policy, bioinformatics, medical informatics, and social and behavior studies. ISI supports counterterrorism and homeland security’s missions of anticipation, prevention, preparedness, and response to security events, in physical, cyber, enterprise, and societal spaces.

The Dean and Professor of FIU's College of Engineering and Computing Dr. John L. Volakis will be in charge of
the welcome words at the IEEE ISI 2018 on Thursday Nov. 8, 2018 at 8:15am.
The next day, Friday Nov. 9, 2018, our Distinguished University Professor, Ryder Professor of Computer Science
and Director of the School of Computing and Information Sciences at Florida International University (FIU) Dr.
Ram Iyengar, will be in charge of the opening words right before the Keynote session.

The IEEE ISI18 conference dates have changed and the original schedule has been preponed by one day. The new conference dates are: November 8 to November 10, 2018. We are looking forward to seeing you all in Miami.
